Erling Haaland has done it again, another hat-trick, and this time all three goals came in the opening half against Wolves this evening.
The Norwegian has now scored a hat-trick in two consecutive seasons against Wolves and has extended his gap at the top of the Premier League golden-boot race.
On top of all that, the City man has now scored more hat-tricks than some of the Premier League’s all-time greats.
The striker went on to find his fourth after the break.
That’s now nine hat-tricks in less than two full seasons as a Manchester City player, but most importantly it has all but cemented another win for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Should the Etihad outfit see out their showdown with Wolves this evening and go on to win their remaining three Premier League games they will become the first club in Premier League history to win four straight titles.
