The incredible revival of Moussa Sissoko’s Tottenham Hotspur career has been rightly met with great praise from fans.
But his form hasn’t gone unnoticed within the dressing room either.
Midfield colleague Harry Winks revealed just how impressed he has been to see Sissoko get on track in London after a difficult start.
The fact that he also bounced back from the agony of missing out on France’s victorious World Cup squad last year is something that Winks was blown away by.
“That shows how mentally strong Moussa is and what a top professional and role model he is,” the Englishman told the club’s website.
“I can’t speak highly enough of him and his story is incredible really because it is fair to say the first two seasons didn’t go the way he wanted.
“He had a lot of lows but that’s someone you can draw so much inspiration from in everything he’s done.
“With everything he’s work on, he never stopped believing in himself and working hard to get to where he is today.
“He’s reaping the rewards of his hard work and that’s why everyone loves him. He’s a top, top guy and everyone is so happy for him.”
The 29-year-old has enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career this year, playing a key role in Spurs’ fantastic season.
