Hansi Flick provides Raphinha injury update before Barcelona vs Dortmund | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has provided an update on the wellbeing of attacking star Raphinha.

Barcelona are of course in the midst of final preparations for a return to action on Wednesday night.

Turning attentions back towards matters on the continent, the Blaugrana will play host to German heavyweights Borussia Dortmund, in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie between the clubs.

Boss Hansi Flick, in turn, took his place in front of the media for his pre-match press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

And, during as much, the German provided an update on the wellbeing of the aforementioned Raphinha.

Wide-man Raphinha was for his part left on the bench from the off over the weekend, as Barcelona played host to Real Betis in La Liga.

The Brazilian, though, looks set to return to starting duties on Wednesday night, with Hansi Flick having confirmed:

“We gave Raphinha a rest after the break, but he’s training perfectly, just like before. He’s active, dynamic… he’s ready for tomorrow’s game.”
