Arsenal returned to winning ways as they came from behind to beat Aston Villa in their Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon.

And they did just that as they won a six-goal thriller at Villa Park.

Villa raced out the blocks and took the lead after six minutes through Ollie Watkins.

Bukayo Saka restored parity shortly after, only for Philippe Coutinho to restore the home side's advantage just after the half-hour mark.

Arsenal battled back and drew level once again in the 61st minute when Oleksandr Zinchenko bagged his first ever Premier League goal.

The Gunners pushed for a winner and they got it in the third minute of stoppage-time.

Jorginho had a go from 25 yards out but his brilliant effort crashed off the bar.

Fortunately for Arsenal, the ball bounced off Emiliano Martinez's head and bounced into the back of the net.

Gabriel Martinelli then emerged from the bench to make it 4-2 in the dying moments of the match.

Martinez went up for a corner as Vila desperately searched for an equaliser.

But the ball was cleared and Arsenal broke.

Fabio Vieira showed great composure to send Martinelli clear on goal.

With no Villa player anywhere near him, Martinelli decided to have a bit of fun and put his hands in the air in celebration before poking the ball into the back of the net.

The disrespect is off the charts.

Imagine if he missed, though...

Arsenal go back to the top of the Premier League table

It was an incredible victory for Arsenal and they have now gone three points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table.

City could go level on points with the Gunners once again should they beat Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.

Arsenal are next in action on Saturday February 25 when they travel to the King Power Stadium to take on Leicester City.
