Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a move for Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers, with several outlets, including ESPN, The Sun and Sky Sports News, reporting interest in the player within the past 24 hours.

Frustration With Gabriel Martinelli’s Performance

Supporters of the north London club have grown increasingly frustrated with Gabriel Martinelli’s performances on the left flank. Once regarded as one of the most exciting wide players in the Premier League, Martinelli’s confidence and end product have dwindled since the beginning of the 2023–24 season. The challenge for Arsenal is Aston Villa’s stance. The Midlands club have no desire to part with Rogers and are said to value him at around £80 million. With Arsenal’s summer spending already approaching £300 million and few significant sales completed, it remains to be seen whether the club can realistically commit such a sum to another signing.
