The 1A Divisāo club announced the news just a short time ago via an update on their official club website. Parker will oversee first team matters at SC Uniāo Torreense throughout the 2022/2023 season. He joins a club who has won one and lost one of their opening two matches this season.
Parker has been out of work for almost 12 months. He left his former position as first team manager at Lewes last October with Craig Gill stepping in to oversee first team affairs on an interim basis for the remainder of the 2021/2022 campaign. Parker enjoyed a successful spell in charge of The Rookettes. He turned the club’s fortunes around in the second half of the 2019/2020 season before leading to club to a fifth-place finish in his only full campaign in charge at The Dripping Pan.
The former Lewes boss has a wealth of coaching experience in the game which spans for almost a decade. Parker is a bright young coach who has all of the attributes to be a success in his exciting new venture overseas.
Parker’s first game in charge of new club SC Uniāo Torreense could be against SF Damaiense on 16 October.
