Napoli set to seal signing of Sevilla full-back Juanlu Sanchez | OneFootball

After a lengthy period of negotiations, the Partenopei are set to add a defensive reinforcement as Napoli are prepared to close in on Sevilla full-back Juanlu Sanchez.

TMW reports that after several weeks of frequent back and forth discussions, the two clubs have at last reached an agreement around the region of €17m for the 22 year-old right back to join the Serie A champions this upcoming season.

The Spanish international awaits the final green light in order to travel to Naples for his medicals and make the transfer official.

Throughout last year’s campaign, the Sevilla youth academy graduate played a pivotal role for the Spanish outfits, amassing 4 goals and 4 assists in 32 games-played in the La Liga.

With the Partenopei back-line nearly complete, Napoli now seek a forward to replace Romelu Lukaku following his severe thigh injury in the Azzurri’s most recent friendly against Olympicacos, which will result in the Belgian forward missing nearly 4 months of league action.
