According to an update shared by Mundo Deportivo, it has come to light that several young players who had the chance to train with the Barcelona first team last week have now returned to Barça Atletic to begin their preseason preparations.
As such, Jan Virgili, Landry Farre, and Juan Hernandez are the three players who have rejoined the reserve squad under Juliano Belletti’s guidance after spending time with Hansi Flick during the first-team training sessions.
These players will now focus on preparing for the upcoming season with Barça Atletic, while the senior team continues its pre-season schedule at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
It is said that Guille Fernandez, Toni Fernandez, Roony Bardghji, Jofre Torrents, and Pedro Fernandez are still involved in first-team training.
Meanwhile, as reported before, Flick has made his first significant decision regarding the young players. He has chosen to take Pedro Fernandez Sarmiento, better known as Dro, and Jofre Torrents on the team’s Asian tour.

Both players have been officially informed that they will travel with the senior squad on Thursday when Barcelona fly to Japan to face Vissel Kobe in their first preseason match of the summer.
However, it remains unclear if the others—apart from Dro and Torrents—will travel with the team for the tour of Japan and South Korea.
Lastly, it is to be noted that Ibrahim Diarra has been ruled out of the trip after suffering a torn rectus femoris muscle in his right leg during training last Saturday.
The youngster will stay in Barcelona to recover, missing the opportunity to be part of Flick’s squad for the tour.
The first team will resume training on Tuesday, with a planned double session as preparations continue for the new season.
