Feyenoord are seemingly preparing for the exit of Ilias Sebaoui. The 23-year-old Belgian returns to his native country, as a move to STVV nears.

Sebaoui came through the youth academy of Beerschot. Feyenoord signed the energetic wideman in the summer of 2023.

The Rotterdammers first loaned him to FC Dordrecht for a season and then to SC Heerenveen. Sebaoui made 33 appearances last season with the Frisians and scored four times, although these performances weren’t enough to turn heads back at De Kuip.

That said, an imminent departure has attracted STVV. They were in the relegation pool with Dirk Kuyt’s Beerschot last term, but managed to seal survival. According to sources around the Belgian club, an agreement with Feyenoord about Sebaoui is close.
