Feyenoord have announced the arrival of goalkeeper Liam Bossin (28). The Rotterdammers have loaned in the stopper from partner club FC Dordrecht until the end of the season. It is believed that there is a purchase option in the deal.

In early January it became clear that Bossin was in the picture at Feyenoord. The Belgian-Irish goalkeeper reportedly impressed the management team with his performances at Dordrecht, while several clubs have their eyes on third goalkeeper Plamen Andreev.

Talking to the club’s official media channels on arrival, Bossin said:

“It was immediately clear to me that this was what I wanted. If Feyenoord calls, you just have to say yes. Of course, I was the first keeper at FC Dordrecht, but here I get a different role, as a reserve keeper. I’m going to give one hundred percent to support Justin or Timon and give them a good feeling for every match. And of course, I also want to develop myself further, both physically and in terms of goalkeeping technique. I’m really looking forward to that.”
