According to Marca, Fenerbahçe are now in pole position to land their priority target Youssef En-Nesyri. Sevilla expect an offer of €20m to arrive, although an offer from a club in the Saudi League may surpass this value.

The forward has been placed on the transfer list since the end of the league campaign. José Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe have shown the most concrete interest in the Moroccan, as the Portuguese manager wants to completely change the forward line with En-Nesyri the face of the new project.

Reports from Turkey suggest an offer has already been submitted, although this looks to fall short of Sevilla’s €20m asking price. It is unlikely the club make such a substantial offer, however there is a willingness from both parties to make a compromise.

The 27-year-old is convinced by the Fenerbahçe project and it is now up to the two clubs to agree on a fee. In recent years El-Nesyri has rejected some important offers to stay in Spain, however it is more than likely he departs the club in the coming weeks, as he looks to embark on a new project.
