

FC Bayern mourns Andrea Otto

FC Bayern is mourning Andrea Otto, who covered the German record champions as an ARD reporter and presenter of 'Blickpunkt Sport' on Bavarian broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk, among other things. The 47-year-old has died after a long illness. She worked at five Olympic Games and the 2018 football World Cup for radio and TV.
Herbert Hainer, FC Bayern president: "We're all shocked and our deepest sympathies go to the family and friends of Andrea Otto. She was a special, kind-hearted person and an extremely competent journalist. Andrea Otto will be missed greatly - by viewers as well as the people who she interviewed for her greatest passion, sport."
