Thank you, Eric Dier!

FC Bayern would like to say: Thank you, Eric Dier! The English defender is leaving the German record champions on 30 June at the end of his contract. Dier is moving to Monaco in the French Ligue 1 for the new season. "Eric is a terrific lad and we had a great time together," said sporting director Christoph Freund, thanking the 31-year-old.

Dier initially arrived in Munich on loan from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur in January 2024 before FC Bayern made the move permanent the following summer. Dier made 48 competitive appearances for FC Bayern, in which he scored three goals. The Englishman won the Bundesliga title with the Bavarians last season, the first major trophy of his career.
