Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado is fully aware of the challenges he faces this season, but he remains committed to the club.
In fact, as reported by Jordi Cardero, the 21-year-old has already admitted to his inner circle that breaking into the first team will not be easy, given the depth and competition in midfield.
Despite the uncertainty, Casado’s entourage insists that his dream is to continue wearing the Barça shirt.
“If there is even the slightest chance of playing, he will stay,” they say, underlining his loyalty and determination.
The midfield options at Barcelona are stacked with world-class talent. Frenkie de Jong and Pedri remain undisputed starters, while Gavi has shown incredible form, strengthening his place in the team.
On top of that, promising youngster Marc Bernal is set to return soon, adding further competition.
With such a strong core, Casado knows that his chances of regular minutes will be limited this season.

However, his progression into the first team squad has been a result of years of effort and persistence, and he is not ready to give that up easily.
Earlier this summer, Casado’s future was put into doubt as rumours suggested Barcelona could cash in if an offer of €30 million or more arrived.
But Hansi Flick responded directly to those reports by handing the youngster a starting role against Levante in the last league game.
It was a clear message from the manager that he values Casado’s contribution and wants him to remain part of the squad.
Even with interest from several European clubs, Casado is not pushing for an exit. The midfielder’s priority is to fight for every opportunity and prove his worth.
For Barcelona, keeping a player with such loyalty and character could be just as important as signing a new name.
