Everton midfielder Davies on Crystal Palace draw: We're really disappointed

Everton midfielder Tom Davies admits there's frustration after their 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.

Everton were heading for victory via James Rodriguez before Michy Batshuayi struck late for a Palace equaliser.

Davies said, "We're really disappointed. We had chances to kill the game. It is poor from us. We need to be better. It starts after we score. We shouldn't be hanging on to 1-0 into last 10 minutes. Things to work on and for us to get better.

"It was a good goal from James, but it is disappointing as we should have had three points. We are annoyed with how we played second half. We have had chances recently to go and take points and move up the table. There are still nine games left for us and we need to correct it.

"We are still confident. We had the chances. We just need to see the games out."
