Napoli are interested in Manchester City outcast Jack Grealish on loan, but Telegraph Sport warns they will not match his extraordinary current wages of €18m per season.
The Partenopei have already shown they can revitalise players who were left out on the scrapheap in the Premier League, like Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay.
Now they hope to do the same for Grealish, who was not even included in the Manchester City squad travelling for the Club World Cup this summer.

He turns 30 in September and is under contract until June 2027, so could be open to a new experience outside of England to rediscover his form.
The left-sided attacking winger never did live up to the €117.5m fee paid to Aston Villa in 2021, managing just 17 goals and 23 assists in 157 competitive appearances for Manchester City.

Dropping further and further down the pecking order, if Grealish is to relaunch his career in Italy with Napoli, then it means reducing the outlandish wages worth £300,000 per week.
That comes out to £15.6m per year, circa €18.3m.
If he were to arrive on loan, then the Premier League side would have to cover up to 50 per cent of his salary during that spell.
