Everton leading race to sign Juventus’ Douglas Luiz | OneFootball

Serie A side Juventus are expected to take strict action against midfielder Douglas Luiz, who is attracting attention from Everton.

The Brazilian failed to turn upto Juve’s first training session after the Club World Cup and this has left Juve angered. Giovanni Albanese has reported that the player will be fined and he will be excluded from the squad as well.

His relationship with neither Thiago Motta and nor Igor Tudor has taken off. Behavioral issues are said to be a reason and that is why his time at Juve is now up.

There is interest from the Premier League. Everton have taken concrete steps and are ahead of West Ham.

Intermediaries are at work to help Juve move the player on, as his agent Kia Joorabchian is expected to be in England to speak to Premier League clubs. That could be a key point in the deal for both Everton and West Ham.
