The Red Bull Arena, Leipzig will host four games at Euro 2024, including the last 16 clash on July 2nd. The stadium has the lowest capacity of the grounds chosen to host at Euro 2024, but is the most modern having being built in 20024. It is home to one of the top sides in the Bundesliga in RB Leipzig.

Notable Events

The Red Bull Arena, Leipzig, was built in the grounds of the old Zentralstadion in 2004 and soon become one of East Germany’s go to grounds for football.

It hosted matches at the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup, the 2006 World Cup and hosted the German League Cup final between 2005-2007. It has also been a popular venue for gigs, including Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, AC/DC and even Tina Turner. However, due to it’s low capacity it is usually overlooked for bigger sporting events.
