At the time of his exit from the Dacia Arena, the player was fully conscious.

Upon his arrival at the hospital, Ndicka underwent EKG tests which did not reveal any signs of a heart attack, reports Sky Sport.

After the tests carried out, the doctors ruled out the possibility of a heart attack. Ndicka will continue to undergo further checks and spend the night in hospital for observation.

His teammates, along with Daniele De Rossi and Lina Souloukou visited him and Ndicka reassured them of his positive condition.

The team will now return to Rome (therefore excluding the possibility of the match resuming tomorrow).
