Bayer Leverkusen’s Edmond Tapsoba (24) has been added to Paris Saint-Germain’s growing centre-back shortlist, according to RMC Sport.

PSG have been forced into the market for a centre-back following a potentially season-ending injury to Milan Skriniar. After undergoing ankle surgery, the former Inter Milan defender is in a race to feature again this season, but as he recovers, Les Parisiens are looking to add reinforcements this month.

Leeds United’s Diego Llorente is a leading target, whilst according to L’Équipe, enquiries have been made about West Ham United’s Nayef Aguerd and Wolfsburg’s Maxence Lacroix. Players such as Jean-Clair Todibo, whose arrival at the Parc des Princes is being pushed by the PSG dressing room, and Lille OSC’s Leny Yoro are long-term targets, however, both are too expensive to sign this January.

PSG have €20m to spend on a centre-back this month, according to RMC Sport, whilst Burkina Faso international Tapsoba has been added to the growing shortlist. However, Les Parisiens look to once again be faced with an increasingly familiar problem – Bayer Leverkusen want too much for their centre-back.
