Bayern Munich could offload a number of players this summer, with Minjae Kim, Kingsley Coman, Sacha Boey, and Bryan Zaragoza among those potentially on the move.

Speaking at Bayern’s training camp in Orlando ahead of the Club World Cup, Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl addressed speculation over the futures of the quartet.

On Minjae Kim, Eberl noted that the South Korean international will need to “push through” amid stiff competition in central defense once he fully recovers from Achilles tendon issues that have sidelined him for some time.

“Minjae is struggling a bit with his Achilles tendon. But we were never at a point where he would have risked his health. We have everything well under control. Now he says he really wants to get healthy. He will start training in the next few days. Then we will be very well set up in defense. Minjae has to push through.”

Regarding Kingsley Coman, who has been linked with a move away for some time, Eberl stressed that his situation will be evaluated after the Club World Cup.

“King is with us. He is a player who has done great things for FC Bayern over the years. He is now physically very, very stable. His Achilles tendon has often caused problems, preventing him from playing a full season. Hopefully, he will now contribute to us going as far as possible at the Club World Cup. Then we will see how the squad planning looks overall.”

As for Sacha Boey and Bryan Zaragoza, Eberl signaled more openly that their futures may lie elsewhere.

“With Konny (Konrad Laimer), Stani (Josip Stanisic), and Sacha, we have three right-backs. That’s quite a lot in fact. Now Sacha is here, and he will play for us. After that, we will see what the future looks like. But having three right-backs is definitely a luxury," Eberl said.

With Zaragoza, who spent last season out on loan at Osasuna, Bayern are “open to a transfer”, he clearly stated.

"Bryan had a very, very good phase at Osasuna until his injury. He was called up for the Spanish national team. That shows quality.”
