Juventus are ready to offer a contract to Bologna manager Thiago Motta.

According to a report by Giovanni Albanese of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are formalizing the exit of current head coach Massimiliano Allegri to officially offer a contract to Bologna manager Thiago Motta for the role.

The Bianconeri sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is keen to build the team around Motta and has asked the management to allow the potential new head coach much more freedom to decide on the youngsters.

The Old Lady have decided to offer the 41-year-old manager a two-year contract with the option of a third contingent upon certain achievements.

Massimiliano Allegri’s contract with the club expires in 2025 and therefore both sides are working to end it soon. The confirmation will arrive in a few days and the appointment of Thiago Motta will also be made official ahead of the transfer window.
