Roma coach Daniele De Rossi has included January signings Angelino and Tommaso Baldanzi in the Giallorossi’s Europa League squad list for the second half of the season, but Juventus loanee Dean Huijsen has not made the cut.

UEFA rules state that teams are permitted to name up to 25 players on their ‘A’ list for European competitions, at least two of which must be goalkeepers. Changes to the squad can happen once per season, between the end of the Group Stages and the beginning of the knock-out round play-offs.

Roma have opted to include Baldanzi and Angelino for the knockout rounds, while forward Sardar Azmooun has also been added to the squad. The Iran international was not selected for the Europa League by Jose Mourinho at the beginning of the campaign.

Huijsen has not made the cut, as Roma have switched to a four-at-the-back system and have reasonable cover at centre-back now, particularly with Chris Smalling returning to training earlier in the week.

Elsewhere, Rasmus Kristiansen remains out of the Europa League squad, as was the case for the first half of the season.

Roma will travel to the Netherlands to face Feyenoord in the Round of 32, kicking off at 17.45 GMT on Thursday 15 February. The return leg at the Stadio Olimpico is set for the following week at 20.00, Thursday 22 February.

Roma Europa League squad:

Goalkeepers: Rui Patricio, Svilar, Boer*.

Defenders: Celik, Karsdorp, Ndicka, Smalling, Mancini, Kumbulla, Llorente, Spinazzola, Angelino, Plaia*.

Midfielders: Cristante, Pellegrini, Paredes, Aouar, Renato Sanches, Pagano, Pisili, Baldanzi, Bove*, Zalewski*, Vetkal*, Mannini* D’Alessio*.
