Manager gives his pre-match thoughts on Boro.

Leeds United travel away from home on Monday evening in the Sky Bet Championship, taking on Middlesbrough.

The game gets underway at 8pm at the Riverside Stadium, with both teams looking for a strong finish to the season in their respective campaigns.

Speaking ahead of the final few matches, Farke gave his thoughts to the media at Thorp Arch.

He said: “Each and every game is important.

“Each and every point counts and the closer you come to the end, the more important it is because the less chances you have to repair if you're there with a mistake.

“But it's more or less the same as what we have faced during the whole season, so we have to concentrate on us.

“We have to concentrate on being good in our game and also better than the last game in order to use our chances to be effective, in order to win as many points as possible.

“Then we'll see what the outcome is.”

Monday night will see the Whites face a strong Boro side. An entertaining game at Elland Road earlier in the season saw Farke’s side come out on top, with a 3-2 win.

“It's a side also in the recent weeks who were there with really good performances,” the managed stated.

“It’s a side who at the beginning of the season, would also speak about that they want to finish in the top six and there's still a chance, so you have to keep going until the end.

“I expect them to be highly motivated, perhaps to play even with a bit less pressure because they have nothing to lose anymore, they just can win something.

“Obviously it is also a pretty local game and they will be highly motivated in the home game to be there with outstanding performance and really good results.

"So I expect a really tough, tough game for us."
