It is reported that Milan offered a transfer fee of around €20 million plus bonuses to the Belgian side. But it was deemed insufficient. They have subsequently demanded a better valuation upfront, which is thought to be around €30 million.

It is understood that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are evaluating the conditions and could soon launch another attempt to convince the selling club. In De Ketelaere’s pursuit, Milan have strong backing of their owners.

The 21-year-old Belgian international has a contract at the Belgian club until June 2024. Club Brugge are open to letting the player leave in this transfer window if they get their asking price for the youngster.
