Chelsea manager Lampard in awe of 'amazing' Giroud performance | OneFootball

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard was clearly delighted with Olivier Giroud's display in the 4-0 win over Sevilla on Wednesday.

Giroud scored all four goals to help Chelsea finish top of Group E.

"Four goals at this level, and the quality of the goals," Lampard said. "Individual aspects from Oli himself. Team aspects from back to front. An amazing solo performance, he deserves all the accolades.

"I'm delighted with him, I'm delighted with the team, to come here against a very strong Sevilla team, our team performance was great, it had everything.

"Oli is reliable full stop, he's up there with the great French individuals. Everyone is delighted for him, because of how he trains and how he is.

"Leeds is a tight turnaround so I'll have to see, but it's four goals in a game [flashes smile], he was really top class."
