Chelsea have officially confirmed the signing of Manchester United outcast Alejandro Garnacho on a long-term deal.
The 21-year-old had been at United since October 2020, when he joined from Atletico Madrid's youth set-up.
He made over 140 appearances for the Red Devils across all competitions, but was part of the so-called 'bomb squad' at United this summer and was told to find a new club.
The Argentina international joins Chelsea in a £40m deal, which includes a 10% sell-on clause.
Garnacho is the latest addition in a heavy summer of spending for the London club, which has included the arrivals of João Pedro, Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Estêvão.
Chelsea are also looking to offload players before Monday's deadline, with Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku linked with Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig respectively.
