SATURDAY 11th MAY 1912 – For the second time this season, Celtic beat Clyde in a final. A month ago it was the Scottish Cup final. Today it is the Glasgow Charity Cup final. It was actually a goalless draw, but Celtic won 7-0 on corners, such was their territorial superiority even when playing against the strong wind!

WEDNESDAY 11th MAY 2022 – Celtic win their 52nd Scottish League Championship as they draw 1-1 with Dundee United at Tannadice with a goal from Georgios Giakoumakis. That looks enough, but Dundee United equalise in the second half, and the last few minutes are anxious. Indeed there have been one or two hairy moments towards the end of the season, but in the end Celtic are worthy champions, and have won the League 10 times out of the last 11 seasons.
