Bristol City have revealed the news that Emily Syme and Sille Struck have signed new contracts with the club.

Syme has spent the last three seasons with Bristol City after joining the club from Aston Villa. The player helped The Robins win the Barclays WSL2 title in 2022/2023 and has remained a key member of the team. The 24-year-old was The Robins’ Players’ Player of the Season in 2024/2025.

Danish defender Struck joined Bristol City ahead of their Barclays Women’s Super League campaign in 2023/2024. The player has eased her way into life at Ashton Gate and has made her mark in the team over the last two seasons.

After signing her new deal, Syme said “I am delighted to have signed a new deal with the club. Bristol City is home for me, and I can’t wait for another season with this club. I hope to make plenty more memories and for another successful season. I can’t wait to get going and see all the fans in September.”

Struck also said “I am really excited to sign a new deal at Bristol City. I have really enjoyed my time here and we want to bounce back from a disappointing campaign last season. I am looking forward to seeing the fans soon.”

Further Bristol City squad news will be revealed by the club in due course.
