Belgium boss Roberto Martínez believes Kevin De Bruyne will stay at Manchester City even if they are banned from the Champions League.
City were hit with a two-year European ban last week after allegedly falling foul of Uefa’s Financial Fair Play regulations.
Their punishment is subject to an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport but even if Uefa’s ruling is upheld, Martínez doesn’t see De Bruyne wanting to leave the club.
“Kevin De Bruyne is committed to the project of Manchester City,” the Spanish coach told beIN SPORTS.
Huge if true.
