Bayern Munich will face Chelsea in the semi-final of the Women’s Champions League after overcoming Rosengård 1-0 in Thursday’s quarter-final second leg.
Scorers: Schüller 22′
Bayern were 3-0 up from the first leg and it didn’t take long for them to increase their advantage, with Lea Schüller heading home powerfully from Linda Dallmann’s cross to make it 4-0 on aggregate.
Jens Scheuer’s side will now face Chelsea in the semi-final, with the first leg to take place in London on 24 April.
In the other semi-final, Barcelona will face either Paris Saint-Germain or Lyon, with the outcome of that quarter-final yet to be determined after this week’s second leg had to be postponed due to an outbreak of Covid-19 in the Lyon camp.
