Barcelona are keen to make moves this summer, and one of their top priorities seems to be signing up players from Chelsea.

Having already agreed a deal to sign Andreas Christensen on a free transfer, the Blaugrana are now looking to add two further names from our squad.

Cesar Azpilicueta is available on a free as well, and Marcos Alonso has asked to leave the club too, with his eyes on Barca. That’s according to The Sun, who posit that the Catalan club want to complete a deal as soon as tomorrow.

Now that the takeover is effectively complete, Chelsea can start to make these kinds of decisions very rapidly – but this still seems like a preposterously short deadline.

The negotiations may well begin tomorrow, but don’t expect to see anything completed for a couple of weeks at the very least. These Spanish sources are just getting overexcited with the window about to open.
