La Liga giants Barcelona have this weekend been tipped to launch a winter move for Bayer Leverkusen star Jonathan Tah.
The name of defender Tah has of course long proven a prominent one in the headlines in Barcelona.
This comes after the Blaugrana saw a late-window approach for the German international rebuffed by their counterparts at the aforementioned Bayer Leverkusen over the summer.
The interest of the Camp Nou brass, though, remains strong, ahead of the expiration of Tah’s terms at the BayArena in the summer of 2025.
So much so that, according to Diario Sport, Deco and co. could yet sanction a mid-season assault on the signature of the 28-year-old.
In a bid to beat out the mounting competition for Tah’s services, Barca are considering tabling a January offer, to tempt Leverkusen into a sale rather than losing a key player for nothing in the summer.
It is also noted that the starting price to open winter negotiations would come in around the €20 million mark.
