Barcelona set new record against Real Madrid

Barcelona have done something truly remarkable this season: four Clásicos, four wins.

It’s the first time in history that one side has won every single meeting in a season between these two titans of world football. And it’s been driven by the standout form of Raphinha and Lamine Yamal.

This level of dominance is rare. The only other time either side won four Clásicos in one campaign was back in 1982/83, when Barça also beat Madrid four times – though that took five games, and the wins weren’t consecutive.

Barça’s stats across these games are eye-catching. They've scored 16 goals (four per game on average), conceded just seven, and finished with a +9 goal difference. More importantly, they picked up two trophies in the process – the Super Cup and the Copa del Rey – both won at Real’s expense.

In the most recent clash, Madrid had gone 2-0 up but collapsed to a 4-3 defeat, with Barça staging a thrilling comeback. That win didn’t seal the La Liga title mathematically, but let’s face it – it’s practically in the bag now.

And for manager Hans-Dieter Flick, it’s been a dream start to life at the Camp Nou. He’s now matched a record previously held only by Pep Guardiola, who also won his first four Clásicos. The twist? Flick did it all in the same season – something Pep didn’t manage.
