Barcelona on alert as PSG dealt concerning injury blow ahead of Champions League clash | OneFootball

French giants Paris Saint-Germain have this evening been dealt some altogether concerning news on the personnel front.

This comes after star attacker Bradley Barcola was forced into a premature departure from proceedings whilst lining out for his country.

After being afforded a starting berth in France U23s’ meeting with the Ivory Coast, Barcola lasted just 25 minutes, before limping off with what appeared to be a muscular problem.

The winger was spotted clutching his left hamstring whilst making his way from the field of play.

It now remains to be seen whether Barcola is set for any kind of significant spell on the sidelines, ahead of an impending round of medical tests.

As things stand, though, his availability for PSG’s Champions League quarter-final first-leg showdown with Barcelona on April 10th must be considered as up in the air.

The 21-year-old, for his part, has taken to the pitch on 33 occasions for Luis Enrique’s troops across the season to date, racking up three goals and six assists along the way.
