FC Barcelona have parted ways with almost all of the players not in their plans moving forward, with Oriol Romeu and Inaki Pena among the remaining few to secure an exit.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen was a candidate to leave, but his injury and subsequent surgery have ruled out that possibility.
Barça president Joan Laporta had stated in a recent interview that there will not be any big sales in the summer.
However, as per a new update from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona expect that the final stretch of the transfer window, particularly the last 15 days, could bring developments, especially regarding potential exits from the squad.
While this is not guaranteed, the Blaugrana are not ruling out the possibility that, once pre-season ends, players will have a clearer sense of their roles and minutes, prompting some to consider a change of scenery. This clarity can also attract interest from other clubs.
The current tour in Asia allows for widespread rotation, which masks the eventual hierarchy that will naturally emerge in the coming matches.

This will become more evident by the time the transfer window closes on 1 September, by which point three La Liga fixtures will have already been played: against Mallorca (16 August), Levante (23 August), and Rayo Vallecano (31 August).
Within the current squad, academy players have taken on more importance compared to recent seasons, and some established names may find themselves featuring less frequently in the starting eleven.
Barcelona remain uncertain about how some players will react to a reduced role. The squad is deep, and competition is high.
Players such as Robert Lewandowski, Ronald Araujo, Marc Casado, and Fermin Lopez are still seen as having significant value on the market, should any of them decide to pursue a move.
As such, Barça are not closing the doors on the possibility of one or more departures later in the window, should any player ask to leave.
