It was Pedri’s early strike from outside the box against Levante last weekend that pioneered Barcelona’s comeback win, for it ignited hope in the team that was 0-2 down up until that point.
His goal on the night made it three career goals for him against Levante, making them his favourite ‘victim’ to score goals against.
There is, however, one more club that the player has scored the same number of goals against and it is none other than the team Barcelona face later today – Rayo Vallecano.
Last season, Pedri scored in Barcelona’s comeback win over Rayo Vallecano by scoring the first of the team’s goals on the night before Dani Olmo made it 2-1 in the 82nd minute.
The star midfielder now have three goals in nine appearances against Rayo Vallecano, three appearances of which came playing for Las Palmas.

So far this season, the youngster has been one of the few undisputed starters to have played every minute for the team in the opening matchdays and is thus expected to start at Estadio de Vallecas once more tonight.
He will be chasing his 100th win in the first division as a side objective, but it will be anything but easy given how voracious Rayo Vallecano can be at home.
After all, the Catalans’ record at the venue is anything but dominant in recent years.
Last season, Pedri was one of Barcelona’s most important players across competitions as he played in 37 of the team’s games in La Liga with 35 starts.
His impressive performances even earned him a Ballon d’Or nomination, where he is expected to have a good finish.
