FC Barcelona will be gunning to make it three wins in three games when they face off against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday night in La Liga.
The reigning champions will travel to Vallecas amid concerns about the conditions of the pitch at their opponents’ stadium.
Leading up to the game, Barcelona have been dealt an injury scare as fan-favourite midfielder Gavi has suffered an injury.
Indeed, according to Catalunya Radio, the young midfield star sustained a knee injury during training earlier this morning.
While the issue is not understood to be anything serious, tests will be conducted today and tomorrow to determine the severity and extent of the issue.

As such, at the moment, his availability for the trip to Vallecas to take on Rayo Vallecano on Sunday night is a doubt.
Gavi had been a revelation in pre-season this summer, but that has not translated into starts for the young midfielder so far.
Instead, manager Hansi Flick used the double pivot of Pedri and Frenkie de Jong in the opening game against Mallorca before replacing the latter with Marc Casado for the previous match vs UD Levante.
Now, with a blow to his knee, even if Gavi is available for the game against Rayo, it is unlikely that he will make the starting lineup on Sunday.
For now, though, doubts remain over his availability, and things should clear up once the results of his tests emerge.
Meanwhile, Barcelona will be boosted by the availability of Gerard Martin, who has finally been successfully registered in La Liga.
