FC Barcelona resumed training this afternoon at the Goyang Stadium in Seoul, as preparations continue for the second match of their Asian Tour.

The Catalan giants played their first pre-season friendly last Sunday against Vissel Kobe in Japan, securing a 1-3 win.

Having flown to South Korea, the Blaugrana continued to prepare for their upcoming friendly against FC Seoul, scheduled to kick off on Thursday.

Eric Garcia back in training

According to SPORT, Hansi Flick welcomed back Barcelona defender Eric Garcia to the group training session, after the defender was sidelined on Tuesday due to muscle discomfort.

On Tuesday, Barça held their first training session on Korean soil, during which Garcia did not train with the rest of the squad due to an overload in his left leg.

The versatile defender had started in the game against Vissel Kobe and opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, following which he suffered an overload, leading to his absence in training yesterday.

However, he now appears to have recovered and trained without issues just one day ahead of the clash with FC Seoul.

The utility man is currently seen as the first-choice backup to Jules Kounde in the right-back position, even ahead of Hector Fort. Barcelona are working to extend his contract, which expires in 2026.

Marc Bernal also trained normally

Marc Bernal was also seen training with the group, although Flick has made it clear he will not take risks with any players.

Despite being part of the travelling squad, it is unlikely that the young midfielder will feature in the tour, as the staff intends to proceed cautiously with his recovery.

The players completed stretching, drills with and without the ball, and shared laughs and competitive moments under Flick’s supervision.
