‘At any cost’ – Neymar angling for Barcelona return | OneFootball

Former Barcelona star Neymar Jr. has set his sights firmly on a return to the club this summer.

That’s according to journalist Joan Fontes of Bar Canaletes, who has provided an insight into the latest word stemming from the camp of the Brazilian international.

It is of course common knowledge that Barcelona are on the lookout for reinforcements on the left flank before the summer window is out.

Having come up short in their efforts to bring in priority target Nico Williams, however, the Camp Nou brass have been forced to turn their attentions elsewhere.

Recent days have seen a whole host of high-profile options from across the continent tipped as potential additions to Hansi Flick’s squad in Catalunya’s capital.

And, as alluded to above, on Wednesday, a new, but altogether recognisable name has been added to the list.

Asked by a fan on ‘X’ ‘what do we know about Neymar?’, the aforementioned Joan Fontes, a Barcelona-based journalist, had the following to say regarding the former Blaugrana and current Al-Hilal superstar:

‘It will depend on the noise that Gundogan’s intended departure spreads. He wants to come at all costs.’
