A headline member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has on Thursday confirmed his intention to spend the remainder of his playing career on the club’s books.

The player in question? Lamine Yamal.

Wide-man Lamine, of course, has long set about establishing himself as a legend in the making in Catalunya’s capital.

Despite still being just 17 years of age, the Spanish international is seen as boasting all of the necessary abilities to define a generation in Barcelona colours.

After guiding Spain to glory at this summer’s European Championships, Lamine has since kickstarted the new season in stellar fashion, too, notching a goal and four assists across his first four appearances.

On Thursday, during an interview with El Hormiguero, the subject of his long-term plans at Barcelona was, in turn, put to the club’s explosive academy graduate.

And, in a response which will no doubt come as music to the ears of the Blaugrana faithful, Lamine, as cited by Mundo Deportivo, went on to explain:

“I hope I never leave Barça. I want to be a legend here.”
