AS Monaco could accept €25m offer for Youssouf Fofana | OneFootball

It is no secret that Youssouf Fofana (25) will be allowed to leave AS Monaco this summer, in fact, both parties are working towards this end.

With just one year remaining on his current deal and with no contract extension offer in sight, a departure is viewed as mutually beneficial. Having performed consistently in Ligue 1, Fofana not only led Monaco back to the UEFA Champions League, he also enhanced his reputation, attracting some elite suitors.

Arsenal are among the clubs reportedly interested in the midfielder, who is currently competing with France at Euro 2024. However, it is Serie A side AC Milan who have shown the most concrete interest, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Italian club are ready to offer €25m for Fofana, a figure that the Principality club may be ready to accept.

A three-year contract, with the option for a fourth year, would await Fofana, who would be keen on joining the Serie A giants this summer.
