The January transfer window has officially closed, as clubs worldwide pulled off some brilliant (and interesting) signings.

Here is what went down on another crazy Deadline Day.

00:45 – It’s a bit eerie now as fans wait for some of the final deals to be announced, but that is all from us at OneFootball.

A few big moves have yet to be confirmed, so keep an eye out. Will Sabitzer join Manchester Utd? Will Ziyech stay at Chelsea?

22:56 – DONE DEAL! Tottenham’s Matt Doherty has departed the Premier League side to join Atlético Madrid.

22:52 – DONE DEAL! Marseille have confirmed the arrival of Vitinha from Braga following numerous rumours. Quite the video, too!

22:50 – Looks like we’re still in for some late blockbuster deals as PSG ‘reach an agreement’ for Hakim Ziyech.

22:45 – DONE DEAL! Here is signing number… we’ve lost count… for Nottingham Forest. Felipe joins the English club from Atlético Madrid until 2024.

22:33 – Some unfortunate news for Everton fans. The Athletic confirmed the Toffees have seen a late move for Watford’s Ismaila Sarr rejected.

21:02 – Keep an eye out on Nottingham Forest in the final hours. After 25 signings, they look close to another, with Keylor Navas reportedly having his medical soon.

20:51 – Could Everton finally be about to make their first signing of the window?

20:40 – DONE DEAL! Haris Seferovic has joined Celta Vigo from Benfica having been recalled from Galatasaray.

20:31 – DONE DEAL! Fulham have confirmed the signing of Sasa Lukic from Torino on a four-and-a-half year deal.

20:21 – David Ornstein has been a busy man this evening and he’s reporting that Cedric Soares is about to leave Arsenal and sign for Fulham on loan.

20:18 – Something slightly more domestic here with news that West Ham loanee Emmanuel Longolo could be staying at Birmingham permanently.

20:09 – Another update about Enzo Fernandez’s potential move to Chelsea, this time from the Telegraph’s Matt Law:

20:03 – DONE DEAL! Watford have announced the signing of Dutch defender Wesley Hoedt from Anderlecht.

19:55 – It looks as if Barcelona’s pursuit of Soyfan Amrabat are over with Mundo Deportivo claiming that negotiations have finally hit a wall.

19:41 – It looks like Ayoze Perez could be about to leave Leicester with the striker ready to join Real Betis on loan for the rest of the season.

19:38 – According to David Ornstein of the Athletic, Everton looked at signing Michy Batshuayi from Fenerbahce on loan but the striker wanted to stay in Turkey.

19:30 – Albert Lokonga is reportedly on the verge of joining Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season from Arsenal.

19:22 – The deadline for domestic transfers may have passed but Arsenal are still trying to sign Signe Bruun from Lyon despite the French side not playing ball in negotiations.

19:18 – DONE DEAL! Lyon have confirmed the signing of Jeffinho from Botafogo.

19:08 – Sasa Lukic’s protracted move to Fulham is reportedly over with Torino having agreed terms with the west London club.

18:45 – L’Equipe are reporting that Hakim Ziyech has passed a medical at Paris Saint-Germain but is now waiting on Chelsea to agree terms with the French club.

18:32 – DONE DEAL! Another deal as snuck through in the WSL though, with Natasha Dowie rejoining Liverpool.

18:24 – DONE DEAL! Hertha have looked to add some experience to their squad with Tolga Ciğerci joining from Turkish side Ankaragücü.

18:21 – The deadline for Women’s Super League transfers has now passed meaning that Alessia Russo will not be leaving Manchester United for Arsenal.

18:04 – DONE DEAL! Nathaniel Chalobah has joined West Brom from Fulham.

18:00 – Marcel Sabitzer is believed to be flying to Manchester right now to try and force through a move to Old Trafford from Bayern.

17:47 – DONE DEAL! Sergi Canós is leaving Brentford to join Greek side Olypiacos for the remainder of the season.

17:45 – And here we have yet more information on Chelsea’s proposed most to sign Enzo Fernandez from Benfica.

According to the Athletic there is ‘heightened optimism’ that the deal can be done before the deadline later this evening.

17:35 – A story from Portuguese paper Record has claimed that Barcelona had an offer for Bernardo Silva rejected by Manchester City.

17:30 – DONE DEAL! Middlesbrough have lost a stalwart of theirs over the past few seasons, with Duncan Watmore leaving the north east to join Millwall.

17:25 – A report from Spanish outlet Relevo has claimed that Barcelona are not signing anyone else in this window, meaning their pursuit of Sofyan Amrabat is over.

17:21 – DONE DEAL! Bristol City have signed Anis Mehemti from Wycombe with the Championship signing the Chairboys youngster on a three-year deal.

17:16 – Lyon are on the verge of signing Botafogo winger Jeffinho with the Brazilian youngster currently undergoing a medical.

17:10 – Paul Onuachu is set to join Southampton from Genk in a deal worth around €18m.

17:04 – DONE DEAL! Manchester City youngster Luke Mbete has been recalled to the Etihad from his loan spell at Huddersfield.

But that didn’t last long with Mbete now going to Bolton till the end of the season.

17:01 – Hibs have confirmed that Emmanuel Johnson has left the Edinburgh side and will join Austin FC on loan.

16:56 – Hector Bellerin is reportedly in Lisbon and ready to sign on the dotted line with Sporting.

16:55 – More from Chelsea’s pursuit of Enzo Fernandez with Sky Sports saying that the Blues are ready to do a medical with the midfielder in Portugal.

16:36 – DONE DEAL! Hertha Berlin have confirmed that Myziane Maolida is leaving the club to join Stade Reims.

16:34 – And here’s a report from Spain claiming that Keylor Navas is close to joining Nottingham Forest from Paris Saint-Germain.

16:32 – More news from Chelsea with Fabrizio Romano claiming that Chelsea’s deal for Enzo Fernandez is reportedly back on after reports earlier that the move had collapsed.

16:22 – Sofyan Amrabat has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona today, but reports in Spain say that the Morocco international will only leave Fiorentina for €50m.

16:17 – Tiemoué Bakayoko, remember him? Well the French midfielder could be returning to his homeland with Fabrizio Romano saying that Lyon are hoping to sign the Chelsea midfielder – currently on loan at Milan – on a short-term deal before the window closes.

16:09 – And that Thestrup rumour we were mentioning earlier, that has now gone through with West Ham signing one of the most exciting strikers in Europe.

16:07 – DONE DEAL! Man Utd have allowed youth team star Dishon Bernard to join Portsmouth on loan until the end of the season.

16:01 – DONE DEAL! Some contract news from Sevilla who have confirmed that Kike Salas has put pen to paper on a deal to 2026 but has moved to Tenerife on loan for the rest of the season.

15:56 – Some WSL news from the Telegraph who claim that West Ham looking to sign PSV striker Amalie Thestrup before the deadline later.

15:50 – Milan have felt the need to comment on an article from Gazzetta earlier today which claimed that the club and Rafael Leao are at a contract impasse.

Their official Twitter account has denied the allegations put forward in the article claiming they are “harmful to all parties”.

15:33 – Bournemouth, what have you done?

Gianluca Di Marzio says Nicolò Zaniolo accepted a move to the Cherries last night and was ready to move this morning only for the club to call it off as they had already committed too much money to other deals.

15:21 – Isco to Union Berlin is off! Talks have collapsed.

“The negotiating partners were no longer ready to talk in the terms we originally spoke about,” someone close to the player has told Transfermarkt.
