At the time of writing, FA Women’s Super League leaders Arsenal are trailing 1-0 to rivals Tottenham Hotspur courtesy of a second half goal from Rachel Williams.

The Gunners had won all of their first six matches of the season heading into the derby and had been the dominant team at The Hive, rattling the woodwork twice and forcing Spurs goalkeeper Tinja-Riikka Korpela into some fine saves.

But as Kathryn Batte correctly points out, Jonas Eidevall’s side will now be remembering what losing feels like.

They are human after all, but a late equaliser from Vivianne Miedema reminded us she’s still out of this world.
