The major hurdle in the way of Tottenham as they pursue Villa star after Eze debacle
Tottenham Hotspur have made Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers a priority transfer target after missing out on Eberechi Eze.
Aston Villa are reluctant to sell Rogers, who recently won PFA Young Player of the Year, but financial fair play constraints might make them consider a substantial offer.
Rogers is expected to command a high transfer fee, potentially exceeding £80m, given his contract runs until 2030.
Spurs are under increasing pressure to secure attacking players following James Maddison's injury and previous missed targets like Morgan Gibbs-White and Eze.
The club is also pursuing other attacking options, including Monaco's Maghnes Akliouche and Southampton's Tyler Dibling, with Nico Paz of Como considered a more achievable transfer.
