Arda Güler maintains record-setting conversion rate with latest Real Madrid brace | OneFootball

A frankly staggering statistic surrounding the efforts of Real Madrid starlet Arda Güler in front of goal has come to the fore on Sunday evening.

As much comes after the Turkish international was on target for Real yet again.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are currently locked in action against Villarreal, in their penultimate La Liga outing of the campaign.

Ahead of the fast-approaching Champions League final, Los Blancos’ coaching staff opted to heavily rotate their starting XI once more, with the aforementioned Güler one of those to have benefitted.

Afforded his latest start, the 19-year-old wasted little time in making his presence felt, courtesy of the evening’s opener at La Cerámica.

After being laid on by Brahim Díaz, Güler made absolutely no mistake in rifling a pinpoint left-footed finish into the far bottom corner.

And, as alluded to above, in the process, the youngster kept alive the most remarkable of individual streaks.

Heading into Sunday’s action, Güler had racked up four La Liga goals this season, by way of just four total shots.

And, in finding the net against Villarreal, the midfield sensation made it five from five, to keep his shot conversion rate for the campaign at a ridiculous 100%.

*Update* – Incredibly, Güler has since gone on to find the net once again, making it six goals from six shots this season.
