Carlo Ancelotti drops fresh Arda Güler UCL final hint | OneFootball

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has hinted that midfield starlet Arda Güler will have a part to play in the upcoming Champions League final.

Real, of course, are set to bring the club’s campaign to a close this coming weekend.

After sewing up the La Liga title several weeks ago, Los Blancos will now turn their attentions back towards matters on the continent.

A domestic and European double is up for grabs at Wembley on Saturday night, when the Spanish heavyweights lock horns with surprise package Borussia Dortmund.

Speaking as part of an open media day at Valdebebas this week, Carlo Ancelotti, in turn, was drawn on a whole host of topics surrounding his plans for the fast-approaching matchup.

And one particular response provided by the Italian has since turned heads across the Real Madrid fanbase.

This comes with Ancelotti having dropped a less-than-subtle hint that the aforementioned Arda Güler is set to be rewarded for his recent excellence by way of a first-ever Champions League appearance in Saturday’s final:

“Arda has shown in the last few games how good he is, how talented he is and that he can be useful during the game,” Los Blancos’ headmaster began, as cited by the club’s official website. “He’ll play because he’s on a fantastic goalscoring streak, he has a 100% success rate and he’s an option for us.”
