Sébastien Denis is reporting that Antwerp, Standard Liege and Genk are all interested in signing Lens 18-year-old Belgian Ayande Sishuba. The Belgian youth international has only played 35 minutes for the club this season but had hoped to feature more in Ligue 1. All three Belgian sides are now looking into the possibility of bringing him across the border during the January transfer window.

Sishuba came through the youth system at Lens and has been capped at U18 and U19 level by Belgium. He has played 31 times for the Lens B team, scoring 10 goals, but only twice for the first team. The midfielder is also eligible to play for South Africa at international level, with the Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos already having the teenager on his radar. The Belgian head coach of the South African national team had hoped to steal him away from Belgium. However, it is not yet known what Sishuba’s preference would be if a decision was put in front of him.
