Chelsea have announced the signing of Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United.
The Argentina international joined the Red Devils as a youth team player from former club Atlético de Madrid and went on to play 144 times for the club, scoring 26 goals and assisting a further 20.
However, the 21-year-old was unable to win over the confidence of Ruben Amorim and after being a part of the 'bomb squad' has signed for Chelsea on a reported seven-year deal.
'It’s an incredible moment for my family and I to join this great club," Garnacho said after signing for Enzo Maresca's side.
"I can’t wait to get started. I watched the Club World Cup and to join the world champions is special – we’re the best team in the world! It’s amazing to be here and I’m very happy."
The Blues are believed to be paying United £40 million for the forward with the Red Devils retaining a 10% sell-on clause.
