Super Eagles Nigeria captain Ahmed Musa believes the team is ready to triumph at the African Cup of Nations.
Veteran Musa, who spent time in the Premier League with Leicester City, was speaking ahead of their opening Group D game against Egypt on Tuesday.
Nigeria are chasing their fourth AFCON title, but are taking on a tournament favorite in their very first game.
"All I can say is that we are ready for the first game against Egypt. Thank God the other players we are expecting are in camp this morning and we are still expecting Collins," Musa told the Daily Post.
"Definitely, I talk to the players because we know what is important. This tournament, we know if we can win it, it's going to have a big impact on our own country and families too," Musa added.
"So, we are all ready and we know what we can do. If we give all our best, I know we can win this tournament."
